Can I get help with spectrum assist?

my dad became a spectrum customer Abt 2 weeks ago and wasn't told abt the the spectrum assist program. He gets snap also which automatically makes him eligible for spectrum assist. Being that he became a customer customer 2 weeks ago he won't be able to get help ?
