Why is autorun last app not working with Spectrum app on Samsung smart TV

The autorun last app feature works for all other apps (Netflix, etc) on my Samsung smart TV except for the Spectrum app. Is there a solution for this?

    I don't know if this is related, but I had a previous Samsung TV the Smart Hub auto run would lock up the box, because I like with an elderly person who would change the channel before it left the screen on Start up. On my new Samsung TV, I turn off the Auto Run Smart Hub, and it improved everything. Along with a different box and guide.

    All I can suggest is check for updates on the TV, and do a soft reset of the TV. Maybe reinstall the Spectrum app. Contacting Samsung will be a waste of time. They will just play the blame game and blame Spectrum. I turn off all Smart TV run in the background stuff except check for updates.

    How old is the TV? What is the model number?

    Reinstalling the app, turning off the SmartHub, updating the software on the TV, and talking to Samsung and Spectrum customer service, did not helped. I'm just gonna use a Roku.
