VPN Issues

I have been using Microsoft Defender VPN for some time and seems Spectrum/Charter is the only service that I have difficulty with while it is active.

Unable to stream TV using web browser (Microsoft edge and Google Chrome, iPhone, iPad). Message is attached.

Unable to login into my account while VPN is active. Error message is attached.

Would be great if these issues were resolved.

    Hi @W_max, welcome to our community!

    Many of our license agreements with TV networks include location restrictions, which we verify by checking if you are connected to your home network. We are not able to do this when you are using a VPN so features/channels may be unavailable. Does this work if you disable your VPN?

    It does when disabled. I can understand why local broadcast channels are unavailable but why would it block connecting to my account (as shown in the last attachment above)?

    After disabling, connecting, re-enabling vpn streams and spectrum account pages display as expected.
