Regular expressions in email filtering or blocked senders?
My inbox is getting flooded with spam. Many of the emails have senders of the form @randomword.digital or @randomword.forum or @randomword.world
I would like to filter/block out emails from senders with address ending in digital, forum or world.
Is it possible to do that?

Hello!
You can setup various filters for our email service. You can put in exact email addresses or keywords. You would go to the settings and then filters and blocked senders on the left side of the screen.

The spam emails are coming in with @randomword.world for example where randomword changes. I need to filter out emails whose domain end with .world since I can't anticipate what the random word preceding it will be.

You can try putting in the keywords of digital, forum, or world to see if that helps. You can create a folder where the filtered emails go to so that you can occasionally check to see if it is filtering or if you get things filtered that should not be.

But keywords of world, digital or forum is too broad - it would filter out many legitimate emails. I'm asking if there is a way to be more specific - those words as the last part of an email address. In particular, does Spectrum email allow for regular expressions in filtering? If not, this would be a feature request!
Thank you.

The ways to be more specific would be to block or filter specific email addresses. If you do not know any more specifics then it cannot be blocked. You can filter keywords in the to/from/CC/recipients/subject as containing or do not contain.
Any other specific forms of filtering is not currently available with our service. We can forward up any feedback for you.
