Remote won’t fast forward through some recordings

We’ve noticed that every so often we can’t use our remote to fast forward through random DVR recordings. We can jump backward using the back button but when we try to fast forward the recording freezes. The light comes on at the top of our remote when we use it. When we go to the DVR box and try to fast forward directly on the box, the same result happens. These are recordings from scheduled TV shows, like a show airing on NBC. It isn’t happening with all of our recordings. We have rebooted our DVR. We have contacted Spectrum and had a signal sent. We have replaced the remote batteries. We have researched this topic but haven’t found a reason or a solution.

    Good morning @Cgpaulhus3. Welcome to our community. We are sorry that you are having issues using some functions of the remote. We can send a new remote, you can also pick one up at your local spectrum store.
