What to do when the internet connection keeps going in and out?

Welcome,
Unplug your modem and router for one minute. Reconnect your modem, wait for it to go back online. Than do the same thing with your router.
If the issue returns, call Spectrum Customer Care at the number shown on your billing statement for a signal and drop line test.
If your signals are bad and your drop line is bad, the tech will replace the drop line.
If your signals and lines are good and you rent your modem and/or router, the tech will replace the rented equipment. Generally, the modem is the first thing they would look at replacing. Or have you replace it if you own your own modem
You get a new modem, and connections are still bad, you would call Spectrum again to check or replace the router, or purchase a new router yourself if you own your own equipment.
