Question about orientation of Spectrum Wireless Router

I have a Spectrum Wireless Router. It doesn't have external antennas, so I'd like to know if there is any reason to change the orientation of the router to optimize the wireless signal to my house. the router is in an office towards the back of the house, so I want to optimize the wireless signal to the most remote part of the house.

the house is one story and about 1400 square feet, but due to the router location and the floor plan of the house, it's signal has to pass through 1 or 2 external walls to reach the most distant room.

Hello @tgordon2 and thank you for reaching out on the community forums!

For our routers, there's not a specific way to face the router, other than upright, in order to increase/decrease range of the wifi in the home. To distribute the signal properly, the upright position is a must. If you're seeing issues where the router's placement isn't covering the opposite side of the home, it may be worth having a tech come evaluate if there's a feasible solution to expand the wifi's signal in your home to reach those places. Would you be willing to have a tech come take a look at the wifi concerns in your home? We would need to go into private messages to discuss if so!

Thanks for the reply. I'm not having any serious issues; I just wanted to insure that I was getting the most efficient use of my bandwidth.
