Xumo box problems

this is the third box that has stopped working when it gets unplugged. It works fine until the plug is removed from the outlet then it starts over but only gets to the hello screen then has no signal at all what is the problem

    Some questions,

    Why do you need to unplug the XUMO in the first place?

    Have you rebooted your Internet modem and router?

    If this is your third box doing this, I don't think the XUMO is the problem. Yet. I would get a tech out to check the cables and signals going to that outlet. Disconnect any splitters.

    If you call have the tech bring over a traditional box, or a DVR if you subscribe to Cloud DVR Service. If the tech finds that the signals and outlet or good, The Xumo is the problem. In that case, have him drop cloud DVR and install a DVR box. Or return the XUMO and get a standard cable box.
