Temperature warning light digital receiver keeps coming on making it difficult to watch TV

    That warning is important, CATV and streaming boxes must be ventilated with nothing blocking the vent holes. This is the time to make sure that all four sides of the box are have open space between the cabinet and the box At least four inches on all sides with no obstruction. Don't have anything on top of the box.

    Check for proper ventilation. I would suggest after all vent areas and spaces are clear, turn off your TV and unplug your box so that it can cool off overnight. If vent areas are clear the next day, and the temp warning comes back, you will need a new box ventilated properly.
