Quickly returning to “Live TV” after rewinding

The older style cable box (the model with a time display on the unit itself) would successfully do this if the “LIVE” button was pressed on the remote control, but the newer, smaller, time display lacking cable boxes do NOT do this. Apparently you have to fast forward until you “catch up” to live TV. Not even holding down the “>” key jumps forward significantly as before (nor does holding down the “<“ key jump backward significantly either, for that matter).
ANYWAY, I think I discovered a way to jump back quickly to live TV: Quickly TURN OFF and then TURN ON again the cable box. I found this non-elegant method returns to live TV on the channel (and you may want to set your cable box to power on to the last channel it had been showing to make this idea work best).
Does anyone out there know a more elegant way to instantaneously return to Live TV with a single button press (or to jump instantaneously to the beginning point of the show you’re watching (or at least to as far back as you can rewind)?
Thank you in advance to anyone who knows and who can share the elegant answer here .

Good evening, @NC4Spectrum. Welcome to the community! Currently, fast forwarding is the main method to get back to live TV. I checked on my box and pressing the > a few times rather than holding down immediately does give faster speed options (up to 60x).

If we're talking about the new, slick, black Spectrum Remote with the blue menu button, regardless of what DVR box we may be able to use it with, the nav cluster down arrow button is what reverts playback to real-time live TV.

Guys,
If you don't like the new remote that is given out often, with the Spectrum Guide, no clock boxes, get the Clickr Backlite Remote from Amazon. It works with Spectrum Guide boxes and has a Live button:
