Difficulty Starting Spectrum App Using Roku Streaming Stick

When I start up and attempt to open the Spectrum app using a Roku streaming stick I see the screen (see pic) "Do you want to continue watching Spectrum TV?" I have only one option to "Keep watching". Clicking on this brings up a blank screen. If I click on the home button I'm brought back to the home screen and all works from this point on.
This happens each time I turn on the TV and open the Spectrum app. All other apps open normally.

For this behavior, has the app been checked on the Roku stick to see if perhaps there's an update that needs to be manually done? Or perhaps can we unplug the Roku stick for 30 second and plug it back in?

Thanks. I've done all this. I have reinstalled the Spectrum app, checked for Roku updates, rebooted the modem and router, etc. My last option (haven't done it yet) is to do a factory reset on the Roku stick. I'm not optimistic.
The Roku stick works well on all apps except Spectrum where there are all sorts of difficulties, some with workarounds. We have a Xumo box which works flawlessly with Spectrum. Based on this and multiple posts by others, the Roku stick and Spectrum app are not fully compatible. There's nothing Roku nor Spectrum can do, at this point, to make things work.
I strongly advise those who wish to stream the Spectrum app to avoid Roku. If using Roku is a must, choose one of the many other tv apps provided.
