The app is not showing connected devices

every time I go to services and check connected devices , the page don’t work tells me to try refreshing page I keep trying and still don’t work

@James_L both online and app it use to work show all connected devices now it don’t for past 5 days

I have reported this issue to spectrum and it doesn’t appear to be any solution. No timeline or urgency to fix it. Frustrating.

Same issue. Spectrum said it would update after the repair but it didn't.

Hi @Jabstair,
This happened once in My Account at Spectrum.net. We have a whole house generator and the tech came out to do routine tests and said. I have to cut the power for a couple of seconds. After he left, a few hours later, everything was working fine. But I went to Spectrum.net and it said my Router was not connected. This is at the Spectrum.net website, not the app. Not on mobile (Through a PC.)
Through my PC, I went to Spectrum.net "My Account" Selected "Internet and WIFI" You will see all devices on your network Details gives the name or company associated with the device. Find the disconnected device and reset it, Depending on the device, this may take 10-20 minutes to complete. Do not close any windows during this process. The reboot will stop if you do that.
Check your device to see that connection works after the reboot process. You might need to reboot your Smart Phone, or restart the Spectrum app for the change to be noted on those devices.

I really really wanted you to be correct, but no go. They said they can see all my devices but its like they are trying to decide between 5 and 2.4 and they are just spinning. They know its a problem but no urgency to fix anything, I have a appointment to get rid of Spectrum 06/02 if its not fixed by then. Too bad customer since 2002. I got a new router at the store, I changed my password, I powered down everything. thanks for taking the time to answer anyway.

Thanks for the update. To be honest if you can browse the Internet fine, I personally would not cancel services over a page glitch. Just to confirm, when you go to Spectrum.net from a PC, what are the devices that show the spinning activity? What devices are not showing up in the page refresh? But like I said, if you can browse, you should be OK.Now, if you can't browse or you have Internet slowness, that is a concern.
Oh another thing, if you swap any equipment (cable/streaming boxes, modems, routers…etc.) It can take between 48-72 hours from the time the new equipment is connected, for the mobile status of the equipment to show online. You said you had the problem for five days. But if you did that store swap very recently, I would wait another 48-72 hours (2-3 days) to see if the equipment refreshes by then.

I cannot see the devices spinning that is what customer service told me is the reason, my message on both .net and the app is the same as the gentleman that started the discussion. Sorry something isn’t right…. I know we all have different needs but I work from home and as a condition of my employer I have to remove the laptop from my network at the end of the day. I’m not in a position to lose my job. Of course you had no idea of that, but I have no choice as there is no resolution in sight . Thanks for trying to help.

I'm having the same issue. This is after I replaced my WiFi router yesterday. My devices connect but don't show up in the app or online. I'm worried that the Scam Shield may not stop any issues right now. I also work from home as the commenter above me does. I hope the issue is fixed before I have to go into the office next week.

Can those affected by the inability to see their devices in the app or at Spectrum.net please post the hardware make and model of their modem and router? This may help in the investigation of this issue.

UPDATE:
The devices are now showing in the app and online. I did a swap on my model SAX1V1S WiFi mode on Monday the 19th in the store. The info that Stach said worked. It took just over a day for the modem to see the devices.

Glad to help! Yes, that is important to remember that any new or swapped equipment will take at least 24-72 hours (average is 48 hours.) before it shows up online and allows mobile usage.
I am surprised that those who reached out to Spectrum Customer Care were not notified of this important information. They could have simply said what I have known for decades and avoided all of this frustration for users wondering, "Why doesn't my new or swapped Spectrum equipment show up online right away?"
