I am trying to use my WYZE and home cameras and just recently I had upgraded my router and modem. Subsequently, my cameras do not work because they take 2.4 MHz cycle and I believe I'm getting my Internet at 5.0 MHz cycle what can I do to change this? Could you please help me? Thank you so much

    Good morning and welcome @oldman_1959,

You have one of our advanced Wi-Fi 7 routers, which provides a 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz and 6Ghz band all under the same network name. If you have 2.4Ghz only devices, they will still see your network available, just as devices that can also see 5Ghz and 6Ghz bands will see those available. The issue some smart devices have is that they need to be set up using a mobile device, and that device needs to be on the same 2.4Ghz band that the smart device is on. Typically devices will connect using the best network available, which depends on signal strength and range, or distance from the router and that isn't able to be modified on the device end.

With our advanced routers, you are able to force mobile devices to use the 2.4Ghz band temporarily for 30 minutes to allow setup of other smart devices. Our features article provides steps on how to activate this, which can be done through our app or website.
