My phone and tablet wont connect to 2.4

I have a smart device that I need to be connected on 2.4 so I went on the app and selected set up smart device on 2.4. The problem is that my phone and my tablet disconnected from the wifi and wont connect to the 2.4 at all. I followed the steps in the app to fix this but it still doesn't work. The app said to turn off wifi assist and turn off mobile data, but it still wont connect to the wifi.

Hello and welcome to the Spectrum Community!
I do apologize for the issues with our wifi service. If you have one of our routers the router does not broadcast 2.4 and 5 networks separately but the router itself does auto connect the devices to the network that works best for the device. So any device that needs 2.4 should auto connect to that network.
