Modem Keeps Disconnecting/Reconnecting
Anyone in the Austin area having issues with spotty modem connectivity? It seems like after the past hail storm that blew through on the 5/28, my modem has been disconnecting and reconnecting. My internet is slow as well. I checked the modem and I'm seeing a lot of uncorrectable data (?) on the Downstream channels.

Yesterday, I was also seeing tons of the T3 and T4 time-outs. Anyone have any ideas on what this might be? Googling seems to suggest an issue with upstream/carrier equipment.

Good afternoon and welcome @ExitusLSU,
I see you have a new modem due to arrive soon. It's possible using this may clear up the issue you're seeing, but it's likely you'll need to have a technician scheduled. I'm not showing the same issues on other nearby customer connections and yours is definitely reflecting many timeouts recently. Although it looks to be underground for your area, it's still possible something was damaged with recent storms. If the new modem doesn't do it, you can give us a call to set up a service appointment, or reach back out here and we can set you up with the first available.1 -
I restarted my modem and unplugged and replugged the coax cable. The cable connection now looks like:
