What is causing TV service problems in the upstate NY area?

There have been two service interruptions within the past few days. Channels are either blank or pixelate. I depend on TV at night since I need something that isn't music as background. Service loss is causing me loss of sleep.

You can also set notification alerts to inform you of any future issues: Manage how you receive important service-related messages like appointment reminders and outage alerts.

    Notifications are typically sent for a loss of service. Video being degraded may not generate a notification, but any active alerts would be posted when you log into your account.

    I was never notified about the outages either by phone or email. I do receive email from time to time, so my email is valid.
