My spectrum android app setting acct email invalid

Why is my email address using @maine.rr.com is not a valid email address in my spectrum settings account? I can access my webmail using this email address but spectrum app setting does not recognize it now as valid email.

Thanks for the response. I'm not having issues setting up connection to the email server.

The issue is on using the My Spectrum app and changing the email acct for my spectrum account primary email and alternate email contact. It seems it doesn't like me using my legacy email with rr.com. I use my rr.com email to access through the browser the webmail to see my emails so I know my email address works.

In any case, I may just stop using this rr.com email acct and move on to something else.
