Why can't you refund a downgrade just hours after charging for higher plan?
I am particularly tight on money since I haven't been able to work the last couple of weeks. My spectrum bill, which was over$100 has been taking chunks out of my check. I no longer have a way to game, So I decided to downgrade to a more affordable plan that still fits our needs. After changing it, I found out that I couldn't be refunded the $30 even though I was no longer getting that higher service. The lady offered to change me back to the higher plan and just have the next month switch, but she had already done the work to switch me. So, I said not to bother. But, I did ask if I would have been charged extra right now if I had upgraded instead of downgraded, and she never answered that. I feel like I'm being punished because I couldn't afford the higher plan and had to downgrade. Why could the $30 not be refunded?
