Why is it so hard to Cancel service??!
I have called 3 times and chatted twice to cancel my service. Anytime I mention to the automation system that my reason for calling is to cancel, my call is lost or they are to busy to take my call. The one time i got through to talk to someone I lied that I wanted help with my current service, I was immediately transferred to someone, NO WAIT. But they then transfered me to Customer Solutions, the line stopped ringing and I just sat there on a quiet line for 5 mins with no answers. I have attempted to cancel through chat but they refuse.
I used to like your service and was only canceling b/c I could save $30/month but after this I will NEVER recommend you. I have heard rumors that company's do stuff like this to make you keep your service, I always thought it was nonsense until now. I will continue to post this comment everywhere i can until someone see this and handles this. The closest store is over an hr away, so that is not an option.
I reached out to customer service a few days ago before I found a cheaper service, to give spectrum a chance to match the new company's price. . . I was really on the fence about switching but this treatment definitely clears that up for me.
