Outtage again in Queens, NY 11432
Is there (another) service outtage? Seems like there has been quite a few random ones over the last week or so.
I say random, because there are no storms, inclimate weather etc. It's Spring.
Checked the my spectrum app which had no update (this time)
Verizon's more expensive, but I never had repeated outrages, or any, actually with Verizon.
Should I just "get used to this" of I stay with Spectrum?

Good morning, @airtiz, welcome to our community. I have reviewed the account and I can confirm a service interruption affecting your service at this time. We do have an ETA of 7:30 am. This is only an estimate and can change. You can track this on the app. I have also enrolled you for a credit once the service is restored for the downtime.

Thanks for the fast reply. Although it was rectified by the time you estimated, it does seem a bit excessive as it's now 0400 EST the issue persists.
Thanks for initiating the credit process. It's now 04:06EST and everything seems to be down.

I can understand the frustration with the service being down. We are working hard to restore the service as soon as possible but do not have an estimate on when it will be resolved. I reviewed the issue that occurred a little over last week and it was determined to be a fiber cut. I do not have information on the cause for the current issue but it could be a similar issue. Fiber cuts are usually related to strong storms, construction crews digging, or vehicle accidents.

Thanks. Let me know what I have to do to request for credit. The update is that: "there will be another update in 3 hours",, which doesn't sound promising, and which would be after 9:27PM EST, and me disrupts much, when one works from home.

Your account has already been set to automatically credit the account when the issue is resolved. You will receive a notice when the credit has been applied.
