New Email From Spectrum About MLB Channel Line Up Changes

Hello All,

Everyone with eligible CATV/streaming TV plans will be getting an email from Spectrum to announce that some of their local teams will have their own baseball channel instead of being on Fan Duel Sports Network (FDSN), which no longer carries the games.

If you have a eligible cable/streaming package that already carries your local sports team, there is nothing that you need to do, your services will be updated automatically. Spectrum TV Choice subscribers may need to upgrade their TV packages to view the games.

    Update:

Guys, I have not been able to find the package level placement in order to get these new Baseball Team channels. When I do a package line up to check packages or add-on channels it only gives me the national channels for that package or that channel add-on. (Understand that each baseball team has it's own channel, based on regional markets, so national line ups are obviously not going to be able to list that local information.)

My assumption for the new baseball team channels is the following package levels (any one of them should qualify to watch the local MLB games:)

    1.) Legacy Spectrum TV Select

    2.) Spectrum TV Select Plus

    3.) Sports View add on

Mods may need to confirm. These are new offerings and they have just been added. But I know customers have been asking about what package or service level they need? I do know that Spectrum TV Stream and Spectrum TV Choice subs may have to upgrade. (As of March 28, 2026)

    Good Evening @jamespreston,

Cost of new service adds depends on your package for cable/streaming TV. Best thing to do is to call Spectrum for exact pricing information. If your receiver has an "Upgrade Now" channel, you can go to that channel, and it might offer pricing for that channel.
