Slow internet

Why is the Internet so slow? I will disconnect everything and leave only one thing connected, restart the router and modem, run speed tests. Every device I have lags it says nothing at all is wrong with it at all. I am so tired of it lagging even with a single device connected to it. I have already looked into other providers. I don't care if it's congested because at this point it's congested 24hrs 7 days a week. Is anyone else having this problem with even a single device connected and it's still lagging with absolutely nothing wrong with any of your equipment? I'm seriously about done with this point because I have had to use data and hot spots to get any work done due to the severity of it.

    Thank you for reaching out to us about our internet not working as it should be. I am very sorry for any inconvenience this must be causing you. I was able to locate your account with your registration information. I am not seeing anything that is standing out as the cause for this concern. I am not seeing that our modem has been successfully reset in sometime. When you did the reset did you do this, unplugging the cable line, power line, and removing the battery backup if you have one for both the modem and the router for a solid 3-5 minutes. If not, are you able to try this and let us know?

    If this does not help out, we will need to schedule a home visit to have this investigated further. I can set this up for you, just provide us several options for days that will work and we can have this created for you. -Lyn
