Spectrum modem connected but no internet at modem
When reading this, keep in mind this is not a Wi-Fi issue. I am hard lined.
Modem shows connected to isp but no internet connection. Again, this is at modem not router.
Happens nearly everyday and multiple times a day.
Technicians have been to location 2 separate times. Line is good, signal is good.
Replaced modem 2X with Spectrum units. No change. Resetting, rebooting modem works sometimes but only until next day when cycle continues.
Have been to store where I explained my issue. Response; “sorry your having issues, we can schedule a technician”
I went ahead and replaced router just because it was time for upgrade and of course that changed nothing.
So I am ready to change isp because no solutions have been provided. Been paying good money for years and no internet for some random period of time is my daily experience.
This community is my last attempt to obtain a fix before moving on to a, hopefully, more dependable isp.
Anyone have solution?

Welcome to the Community Forums. I can understand the concern about the internet dropping frequently. I reviewed the history of the modem and I am seeing some history of unstable cable signals. This can cause the internet to be unstable. We would need to get a technician out to investigate the cause of the unstable cable signals. I understand you had service calls in the past but I have not seen any recent ones. If you can provide us when you would be available for a technician then we can get one scheduled for you?

Have had this issue for around 4 years now. That is why technician came out twice over a period of time with no solution. Both technicians checked signal and stated all was fine, strong signal. One technician suggested modem which was replaced to no benefit and maybe a year later I ordered another and replaced it myself with one ordered from Spectrum with no benefit. Whent to store looking for assistance and you saw my review. So have been living with it for very long although very frustrating. Why would I expect things to change with another technician telling me signal is fine while continuing to experience the same issue? I will not reject another technician but must express my doubts anything would change by repeating what has already been performed. With that said, I am available everyday during daylight the sooner the better.
