Why doesn't On Demand hold my place anymore?

Just a complaint here. I stopped watching most of an 1 1/2 hr TV show on the On Demand service on Tuesday. Went back on Wednesday to finish it and had to start it over again! Unfortunately couldn't finish it again, then went back today and again it was at the beginning!!!! It really sucks because you cannot fast forward!! It used to be that you could go back and it would hold your place or you were able to at least fast forward if you had already watched it! With all we pay for cable, this should be the way it works. People have a life and I thought that's what On Demand was, to watch when you had time! Please change how you have this!!

    Hi -

OnDemand content is intended to be watched from start to finish, with pausing available for short periods. Most OnDemand content resets after 24 - 48 hours, which is why the program you were watching restarted to the beginning. The specific parameters, including the availability of OnDemand programming, fast forward and time available before reset is determined by the networks. We do not have control over the availability, we just provide the signal within the predetermined parameters.

If you are unable to watch programming in its entirety at one sitting, then we suggest recording the program on a DVR or CloudDVR so that it can be paused, fast forwarded or stopped as desired and will remain available until it the recording is deleted.
