call guard is not blocking spam calls on my spectrum landline?

    Welcome to the Community Forums. I do apologize that Call Guard is not working for you. I would recommend you log into www.spectrum.net or the My Spectrum app and make sure the service is turned on. Call Guard is designed to block known Spam callers but the individuals making these calls will start to use new methods to make the calls. So it is possible that some calls will come in. There is a link on the following site to report spam calls so they can be reviewed and potentially blocked.

    I am being harassed by Credit One Bank. They call at least 10 times a day, when I do pick up they hang up! They have used 13 different numbers and the same number constantly! How do I BLOCK THEM!

    I can understand the frustration. Spam callers change their tactics to bypass Spam Calling blocking. They will change their number frequently and change how they make the call so the call makes it through. Since you are seeing problems from the same source, you can report it to the FCC. They will research the issue and take any legal actions that are possible.
