Outlook cannot access email account

I am away from home. Outlook on my laptop cannot access smtp server even when I entered the correct email address and password. Outlook has no difficulty on my computer at home

    Having the same problem - I can't even access my email from home!

    Hello and welcome @BraafPaard,

    Are you able to access your email directly via spectrum.net? Have you verified the email server settings needed? If it's working through outlook at home, but not away from home, the network you're connected to may be blocking traffic in some way. Were you still within the US or international?
