I was wrong, Spectrum was right.
Years ago we left Spectrum for TV/Streaming because they lost ABC/ESPN in their fight with Disney. At the time I sent numerous emails to Spectrum telling them that they were a relatively small fish in a very big pond and should just take whatever deal Disney is offering and be happy.
They didn't. They held out and got a better deal.
Now (since they FINALLY have an Android/Google TV app!), I'm back and paying 1/2 price or less for most of the streaming apps I use while getting the same price for live programming. They're now saving me money.
Now, is Spectrum perfect? No. I still won't allow them to put any Wifi device in my home because I don't want them sharing my Wifi with my strangers ("Spectrum Hotspots") and the TV app is still buggy sometimes (sometimes I need to login with username/password sometimes not, forgets caption settings, etc).
On this one issue though, they were right. Well done, Spectrum! 👍️
