Frequently have to reregister/sign-up already installed Spectrum free video apps in order to play.
As part of our Spectrum TV cable plan, we receive ten streaming video apps free. However, since this add-on streaming service began, it seems like every few weeks we have to re-register one or more of the apps using secret one-time codes to get it to open and be usable on our TV. Since we do not have a smartphone, this involves going back and forth between the TV and our desktop computer at the other end of the house. Bringing up the app’s correct URL, inputting the one-time code, and etcetera, all within a certain number of minutes or the code will expire. This always seems to happen when there is a show we wish to see on one of the streaming apps. To top this off, we occasionally get emails from Spectrum asking us to sign up and use more of the apps, even though we have loaded nine of the ten apps to our TV. Also, it seems like several times a month none of the apps will work. I will get a TV screen that says log in or not available. I will come back the next and they are all working again. Am I doing something wrong?
