Valorant Ping Fluctuations
Hey guys, I've been having this problem for over a year now with 2 techs coming out in the past and I just can't sit silent and deal with this anymore. When the techs came, I gave them context that speeds were fine, my issue was with my ping in-game which wasn't happening prior to August 2025. First tech didn't do much but my second tech came and swapped out the coax cable and whatever your guys troubleshooting steps are and he couldn't find anything and insisted that it might be due to on-going construction/maintenance that was happening in the area and my issue could probably disappear in the next couple of months. The issue never got fixed and I just can't deal with this anymore. I average 40-50 in-game and the ping fluctuates randomly to where the game isn't playable. I do esports for university and this results in me performing awfully with the inconsistent gameplay to where I can't practice from home. I've ran pingplotter in the past and WinMTR with no one being able to identify the issue. I've ran Valorant on my downstairs PC being hardwired straight to the modem bypassing the router and the same issues happens just like my upstairs main PC. In August of 2025, I went back and forth with Riot and they said that that the issue isn't them and it was my ISP. Attached is my previous pingplotter, current pingplotter, WinMTR and riots response to my issue back in August 2025. I've also tried their idea of using a VPN to where it did lower my overall ping but the fluctuations were still happening. I don't know how to read these so you guys would have to help me out lol. If you also want, I also have a gameplay sample showing my issues with all the graphs Valorant allows me to enable enabled.
