Why can't I get the 2 Gig Upgrade?

I keep rereceiving texts from spectrum saying "Spectrum: Double your current speed with Spectrum Internet 2 Gig. Enjoy quicker downloads, lightning-fast uploads and 4K and 8K streaming across multiple devices. Plus, get Invincible WiFi included to help keep you online even if the power goes out. Visit https://spectrum.attn.tv/aLeQiuz7JRMo to get started."

when I use the link it just says there are no upgrades available at this time. So why keep texting me? Also when will this actually be available to me?

Hi @FORGIVINGJUNGLE, welcome to our community! One issue is that you are using your own modem which is not supported for the new speeds. We provide a modem for free which I recommend using instead. If you give us a call at 1-855-707-7328 we'll be happy to go over the available packages and arrange for the new modem.

I use my own modem and router both of which are capable of handling up to 2.5 gigs.
