Unable to pair Xumo remote control to TV

I am unable to pair the Xumo remote control to the TV. The controller I received does not match the controller illustration in the instructions. The TV's Bluetooth can "see" other Bluetooth devices but it cannot "see" this controller. What's the secret to pairing it?

For the concerns you're facing with your Xumo remote, if you check the link below there is an image of the remote. Does that look the same as what you have? Also there are steps for syncing the remote to things! Can you try these steps?
