Controlling Xumo Box With Amazon Echo (Voice)
It is difficult, if not impossible, for me to link my Amazon Echo (Alexa) to control the Spectrum Xumo Stream Box. I attempt to enable the Xumo skill then I'm prompted to link to my Xumo account. When I set up the Xumo box, I set up the Xumo account through Spectrum, not directly through Xumo. This may or may not be relevant.
Now when I go to the Alexa app to link Alexa to the Xumo box, I'm not even able to enable the skill. Dead end!
Could this be related to the fact that I set up the box through Spectrum and not directly through Xumo? Is anyone able to control the Spectrum Xumo box with an Amazon Echo device?

Welcome to the community, @lwapner! I'm unable to locate any information in my system in regards to connecting the Spectrum Xumo box to an Amazon Echo. If you visit us at https://www.spectrum.com/resources/tv-streaming/xumo-voice-features it will provide information on how to use the voice control features for the Xumo itself.

Good points! Sharp-branded Xumo TV's are presumably the only Xumo products supportive of Alexa Skills which, even then, are only intended to "complement" the native Xumo voice integration that James cited!!
