Is there any type of device available to control TV channel selection for people having vision problems?

    Hello and thank you for posting on the Community Forums @deedleann824!

    For cable boxes, we do have guide narration! The link below if you'd like to visit and read the steps! This will audibly advise what the customer has selected/what they're looking at via a description that comes from the box. But to be sure, is this for a cable box, or for a streaming device?

    @deedleann824,

    The receiver you're currently using wouldn't have guide narration available, but you can get one with that feature if you'd like by calling 844-762-1301.

    There is also a big button remote available that we can send out to you.

    @deedleann824,

    If you already have the big button remote, you can call to swap to a receiver that has guide narration ability, or you can also change to a Xumo streaming device that comes with a voice remote and also has voice guidance abilities in the accessibility settings menu. It's cheaper at $5 monthly, and you also have the option to purchase the device at $60, or monthly payments of $5 for 12 months.

    I have a Cisco 4742HDC cable box.

    That looks just like the remote I have. UR3-SR3S

    I likely have the Cisco receiver because it connects to my TV with a coax cable. My TV isn't HDMI capable.

    I totally understand, the box you currently have does not have the guide narration. It would need to be swapped out for one that does. We can discuss options with getting one set up for you by calling us at 844-762-1301 - Lyn
