Xumo box

My main Xumo box will not turn on this morning, 2nd box is working fine. I have secured all lines and still no luck. Please advise. I also have question about the remote, but main issue is the box at this point.

    Good morning and welcome @MickeyB,

    Our support page has useful Xumo troubleshooting steps you can take. If it appears to have no power, you can try connecting to a different, non-power strip outlet. If you haven't already, remove the connections from the device and then reconnect everything. Having multiple Xumo devices, you can try swapping them between rooms to see if the same issue occurs, or even swapping the power cables between devices.

    Do you see a light appear on the remote when pressing any buttons or have new batteries been tried? Is there any light visible on the front of the Xumo when trying to power it on? If the remote is no longer RF paired to the Xumo, you would need to point it directly at the front for it to receive any remote commands as well.

    For non-purchased devices, you can swap the Xumo if needed at a store location, or have a technician scheduled to come out to you.

    I have done all those suggested above. There is no light on Xumo box. I can still get access to the watch free app and all the other apps that are downloaded on my Vizio TV, but I can only use my TV remote to navigate not the Spectrum remote, it doesn't recognize it, and no the light doesnt come on the Spectrum remote. Do you think its a pairing issue, if so, how is that done?

    If there's no light on the Xumo remote when you press buttons, you may need to change the batteries. If there's still no lights with new batteries, the remote can be exchanged. The Xumo remote will still work for most commands if not RF paired, it just uses the IR transmitter and sensor instead and has to have line of sight to the Xumo device. Our Xumo remote pairing page will have more information on pairing/unpairing and getting the remote connected to control basic TV functions.

    There is no light on my remote that works either. I just put in new batteries and then I was able to pull up the home Spectrum page. I then went and turned the tv off and tried to turn it back on with the Spectrum remote and could only do it with the TV remote.

    @MickeyB Is the remote working now that you turned the TV on, if not you can exchange the remote at the Spectrum store.
