Why isn't there an advanced options page to select different wifi channels?
For whatever reason, the Spectrum Mobile SSID of my neighbors and their SSIDs for 5Ghz wants to keep sticking to 157.
Is there a reason that the SBE1V1K is not capable of switching to a different channel automatically or allowing a end user to change this setting?
I get it its simplified to reduce the amount of calls Spectrum gets because some screwed up their wifi, but I would expect this device to at least allow for rescanning manually to pick a better channel, especially in some congested environments such as townhouses.
Maybe require you visit the IP of the router to make the change versus the Spectrum app?

Forget about it. That's literally by Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax and now also Wi-Fi 7 802.11be channel "coloring" design and that particular hyper-coexistence black magic is not something to try to defeat.

The buffer bloat the SBE1V1X seems to have is really really bad. Can spectrum engineers maybe take a look at some firmware that improves the QOS? It hasn’t gotten an update since January.
