What was this tech doing???

so yesterday afternoon I noticed that there was a spectrum tech working down the road. He was in and out of a neighbors house, so it was their service call. An hour later when I was leaving for work I saw him working up on the pole. 20 minutes later I get a notification from my camera that someone’s in my front yard. I look at the video and the tech appears to walk up onto my front step and take a picture of my driveway, my kids were out playing around the corner in my driveway, I certainly hope he didn’t take a picture of my kids…..

    Hello @TheLambFamily;

    Welcome to the Community Forums. I can understand the concern about someone coming onto your property. Since the technician was working on a pole nearby then he may have been checking for cable signal leaks. I have sent an escalation to our Field office to verify what was being done. They will reach out to you about what was being done.

    Hello,

    Our Field office reached back out to us. They stated that they tried to reach out to you but were not able to make contact yet but they did confirm that the person in the video is likely not a Spectrum technician. We had technicians working in the area and they observed a couple individuals in similar outfits and they believe that they were door to door salesmen.
