Why does CNN have audio feed cut out

Why does CNN audio feed continuously cut out momentarily? This has been happening for several years now on Spectrum cable TV. Is this cable news being hacked?

    Hello and welcome @Sbarrymars,

    I'm not showing a current issue for CNN, and definitely not one that would be occurring for years. Are you only noticing an audio issue for this channel? Were you seeing this on the cable receiver, through the Spectrum TV app, or both? Checking through the app and a receiver from the area, I wasn't able to duplicate the issue.

    If using the receiver, have you attempted to reboot the device by removing the power and cable line for at least 30 seconds? You can also try connecting it to a different HDMI port on the TV, or using a different HDMI cable, which we do supply at no cost if another is needed. If you're still having an issue after those steps, a technician may be needed to investigate further, which we can get scheduled for you.
