No option for Positioning closed caption on "World" 210 cable/DVR box

Just moved from the Motorola cable/DVR box to the World 210 box. Found that I cannot position the text at the bottom of the screen like I was able to do with the Motorola box. There is no option for this in "settings & support" like there was on the old box. The CC seems to position itself wherever it want to and will move from bottom to center to top while watching the same show. Very frustrating.

Has anyone else come accross this? Thank you —-

    Hello @sprill;

    I can understand the frustrations of not being able to move the position of the text of the closed captioning. At this time this is not a feature of the Spectrum Guide software the cable box uses. I will pass on your feedback to management to consider adding this feature in the future.

    Situation: normal. You can verify that by comparing any local broadcast channel (e.g. PBS) via over-the-air antenna with the TV's ATSC receiver doing the decoding versus via the later set-top box receiver.

    What is the difference between "True 708" captions and captions which were up-converted from 608 to 708? : Up-converted 608 captions can not take advantage of any of the new 708 caption features, such as multiple fonts and styles, multiple windows [❗️], Unicode character support, or proper support for more than 4 languages. ☘️
