High Split (Symmetrical) in Dayton, OH, 45402

Good afternoon,

I recently switched from AT&T Fiber 1000/1000 to Spectrum gig service, but my area only has 35 Mbps up. Looking around, I see that Spectrum plans to roll out high split, but I can't find an exact time frame anymore.

This link above used to have a comment from Sr. Mod Mo_S, but has been since deleted. I'm able to find a cached copy of some of it on the Wayback Machine.

Are there any updates on when 45402 will have the option to run at symmetrical speeds?

    Hello @Tekgnome;

    Welcome to the Community Forums. I checked the status of the Network Evolution upgrades in your area and we currently do not have an estimate on when it will be started. This indicates that it will be at least 6 months before the service will be upgraded and enabled.

    @Edward_T Thank you for the response!

    Its unfortunate that it's still so far out but it seems that the rollout of high split was far more time consuming than corporate initially expected 😅

    Either way, I guess I'll check back in, in about 7 months to see if there's been any additional information on my area. Thank you very much for your time and help!
