Kudos to Leylani at the Spectrum store in Durham
I wanted to recognize Leylani — I hope I’m spelling her name correctly — for the excellent help she provided during my visit to the Spectrum store at New Hope Commons in Durham, NC 27707, on June 19, 2026.
I came in for help transferring my phone number to Spectrum, and she was extremely patient, professional, and knowledgeable throughout the process. What I especially appreciated was that she was able to identify the actual issue that both the Spectrum call center customer specialist and my previous carrier had missed. Because of her help, the problem finally got fixed.
I really appreciate her attention to detail, clear communication, and willingness to help. She made what could have been a very frustrating experience much easier. I hope this feedback can reach her manager and that she receives recognition for the great service she provided.

Hi, I would like to submit feedback about my recent Spectrum Mobile phone support experience.
I was trying to transfer my phone number to Spectrum, but the issue was not correctly identified during my call with Spectrum customer support. I later visited the Spectrum store at New Hope Commons in Durham, NC 27707, where a store representative helped me and identified the actual issue that had been missed by both Spectrum phone support and my previous carrier.
I appreciate the help I received in the store, but I was disappointed that the phone support process did not properly identify the issue and made the number transfer more confusing and frustrating. I was also told that canceling the ongoing activation process and letting the store restart it was not recommended because the store might simply try to sell me a new phone. That turned out not to be true, and it made the situation even more frustrating.
I would like this feedback to be documented and shared with the appropriate supervisor or customer service team, so that future customers can receive clearer and more accurate support during the number transfer and activation process.

Hey @SFS_NC, welcome to our community! I'm sorry for the poor experience transferring your number to us, but great to see Leylani was able to get everything sorted out. I can definitely forward your feedback about her as well as the phone support, however I see you have spoken with multiple representatives and I'm not clear on what the issue was. Could you let us know the date/time of the call you are referring to and what issue?
