SportsnetLA not working on my roku tv with the spectrum tv app

The SportsNetLA channel is not working on my roku tv while using the spectrumtv app. It just shows "buffering" with a loading circle. The channel works fine on my android phone. It also works fine on a Samsung tv. Ive tried to reset my wifi, erase the wifi from my tv, restart my tv, sign in and out of the spectrumtv app and nothing has worked. About a week ago the channel was playing the dodger game but every few minutes the screen would go black. Now nothing ever plays on the channel. Its just a black screen with a buffering screen and then I get an error message showing reference code: RLP-1999. This is so annoying. All I want to do is watch the dodger game when its on. Its the only reason I pay for this.

    Good evening @Ceelos92,

In testing this channel through your account using the Spectrum TV app, the channel is working normally. Since it's also working for you on other devices, this would point to an issue specific to that device or it's connection to the internet. I don't see you're using our router, so I'm not able to determine the status of that wireless connection, but the error code you provided does reference a connection issue. Have you already removed the TV app from your Roku TV and reinstalled as well?

I can play any other channel without an issue. Once I change the channel to SportsnetLA thats when I get a buffering screen or an error code. I can instantly change to a different channel during the buffering message and the other channel worworks fine. Im only having this issue when trying to watch SportsnetLA. I dont think its a connection issue if any other channel works with zero issues. Not one buffer or error code on any other channels.

Thank you so much for providing those details and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. The error code RLP-1999, does indicate that there was an Internet Issue during video initialization. At this time, we are not showing any trends in the area, but we would like to complete a few troubleshooting steps to see if this will resolve that error code for you and allow you to enjoy that channel. To confirm, since this seems to be affecting the Roku device, are you able to reboot your internet modem and rest the network settings on your Roku device?
