Hack
I was hacked recently. (I was using a Spectrum virus program) My email password was stolen. As a result unauthorized charges were made to several accounts. Anyway I decided to clean my hard drive (reinstall windows). After changing passwords. The next time when I’m on the web some accts won’t let me get in or too many attempts made when it was once. Is it my email address causing this? Because it also happens on a completely different off site work PC?

Hi @MRDunc, welcome to our community! Sorry to see that your device was hacked. Definitely a good idea to do a clean Windows install and change your passwords. Make sure you are using a unique password for every service. A problem with the email shouldn't prevent you from logging into other services, unless they've used that to gain access to those other services and change your passwords for them. You would need to contact them for assistance. We do offer a Security Suite for Windows which could help prevent things like this from happening again in the future.
