Unidentified, new in box, cable gear?
I have an elderly friend who recently asked me to take 2 small boxes of the same unopened TV/ Internet or Cable gear to Goodwill (or similar) as a donation. I don't know what the gear is or if it is compatible with Spectrum (our local cable service). It is marked "XiOne-SC(B)" and consists of a small box, a remote, an HDMI cable and an AC power connetor. She has no memory of how or why she aquired this device (not unusual for her). I believe she may have aquired it in Southwest Florida over 5 years ago. Does this gear have any use for anyone in our Spectrum service area? Should I return this to Spectrum, donate it, sell it or toss it?

Doing google search led me to this link https://fccid.io/P27-XIONESCM2/User-Manual/Users-Manual-5366855#google_vignette
II beleive Xfinity may have been using this for their customers.
