Old runner email stopped retrieving emails on outlook

been using roadrunner email account since we started email. Wife share the email address on separate win11 laptops and iPhones. Occasional hiccup with outlook , but always fixable. In November, Updated new laptops on win11 with new outlook client you use the roadrunner account. Worked fine until week of vacation. When restarted both laptops, neither will work with roadrunner laptop. I can login into spectrum email and everything is ok, just not through outlook. Tried several things to get it to work. The only thing that worked on 1 laptop was to revert to the “old outlook”. But old emails are missing. Is there any way to make “new outlook” work with roadrunner email or move emails on “new outlook” to old outlook?

    Hey @Kenneth_reynolds, welcome to our community.

    There's currently a known issue using our email service with Microsoft-based email clients which our engineers are working to resolve as soon as possible. If webmail is missing older emails you may have been using POP3 set to delete the original from the server, we recommend IMAP which syncs everything across all clients. You may be able to export your emails and other data and import it into old outlook, but that would be beyond our scope of support.

    Could you please give all of us who are having this problem with Outlook mail client not sending or receiving Spectrum mail more context on what is the problem? It would seem your engineers have some idea of what is going on.

    Very frustrating to read "no ETA" after a week or 10 days.

    Unfortunately, there is no additional information available at this time. Engineers are working to resolve as quickly as possible. Access through spectrum.net webmail is still available and working.

    I have been trying to get in to my nycap,rr.com email account for several day, and can't retrieve my emails…..HELP….some of the emails ARE VERY IMPORTANT.

    Are you able to access through spectrum.net or are you using an email client?

    The webmail portal is still available and working.

    Only RR email access is through iPhones. Outlook and Webmail is not working. Outlook stopped syncing August 6th. Spectrum office assures us the RR email address is tied to our account. Do you have a resolution to either Webmail or Outlook? Thank You

    In Los Angeles, Spectrum email on Outlook seems to work today, August 25, 2026.
