I am having packet loss when connecting to certain servers

About a week ago, Spectrum did a some kind of upgrade in the neighborhood (I did not purchase a new service or an upgrade), and every since I have had issues trying to play certain online games (Fortnite). A tech came out, did a few things, and said everything looked fine. Still having problems. I changed my modem, router, stopped any extra bandwidth usage, cleared caches, flushed DNS, and I started researching and doing ping tests, traceroutes, etc. I've come to the conclusion that whatever spectrum "upgraded" has most likely started rerouting my traffic through bad ISPs or poles to the Fortnite servers. Through my tests, I've seen packet loss hitting almost 10% on a few specific ISPs that are owned by Spectrum. I understand 1% can be common but 5-10% seems unacceptable. Is there anything I can do to prevent my traffic from going through those servers? Or am I screwed?

We are sorry to hear that your services have been working intermittently over this past week, and we would be more than happy to investigate further. Having said that, I was able to access your account using the information provided during the registration process and can confirm your modem is connected. To confirm, have you attempted to run a speed test on any of your connected devices?

    Hi, yes I've run quite a lot of speed tests from my computer (where I play games). Most of the time it's fine, I get my normal speeds (1 gbps), then sometimes I'll see speeds between 10-100 mbps. Some of those slower tests will begin to spike at the end of the test, closer to 400-500 mbps. But I've had a couple finish below 100 mbps. I've noticed my latency on upload during tests to jump as well, something like 300-400 ms ping on upload.
