Home Phone Spam and Call Guard stopped working as of 9/2/26

Home Phone Spam and Call Guard stopped working as of 9/2/26. Although both are turned on and at High Level for Call Guard. We no longer see any blocked calls by Call Guard and no longer get any calls being marked as Spam. This started since 9/2/26. And chat and tech support weren’t helpful saying just because some spammers start using new numbers, which I can understand. However, to have 12 spam calls and none of them marked as Spam even though apps like Hiya know they’re spam. This probably means your spam list isn’t getting updated and something has to have changed. Please look into this as soon as possible.

Still not much change since original post, no Call Guard blocks yet listed. 5 to 7 spam calls every day with only 1-2 showing Spam on caller ID. Having to either block each # (which runs out at 100) or add only people I want to ever receive a call from (which is a shorter list for some reason) seems to be crazy and never have we had to do this. And had the same number for over 40 years and the last 20 years or so have been with the Spectrum or former entities -Brighthouse, Timewarner, etc.

Hi @hamilton1, sorry you are still getting unwanted calls. I recommend trying to toggle the call guard off and back on. If you continue to get calls you can report numbers you believe you should be blocked using our phone spam feedback form. Please note phone number spoofing by spammers is increasingly common, when they can call from a different phone number every time it is difficult to determine what is spam. More strict filtering could lead to legitimate calls blocked in error, your feedback can help us differentiate them.

    What William said!

P.S.: Feel free to share whether these calls are coming in with the caller id. verified symbol and whether you have any extraordinarily contentious high-level political races going on there in your congressional district and/or state-wide and, if so, if you'd care for me to share any further thoughts about where it's at now of days with non-fixed-VoIP-facilitated political calls that utilize STIR/SHAKEN caller id. verification than i just implied right there, if you've a mind to. ☘️ Otherwise, my bad for chiming in.
