How do I pause, rewind live TV in Spectrum app on brand new Samsung Smart TV?

We bought a new Q60T QLED Samsung Smart TV with Smart Remote last week. How do I record in the on-TV app? How do I pause, rewind live TV? Spectrum sold me on Streaming TV today and said that it had standard DVR functionality. First thing after starting Live TV is that this smart remote won't pause, rewind, ff Live TV. I can go online and record it in the browser. Even then, how do I review recordings in the TV app? Very confused.
