How can I pause and rewind live TV using the Spectrum TV app?

Spectrum TV App won’t open, error IGE 9000 - Solved
Worked fine on iPad & iPhone,
for years. Now just in last few weeks,
it won’t open. Says “something wrong, IGE 9000 Try later”
it’s been 2 days, updated app, rebooted devices, called tech support,
they said try delete app & reinstall
Even did denovo virginal install on my wife’s iPad. Same same result.
iOS is also up to date 14.4.
App seems no longer works.
Help pls !

Can you reboot the modem on the account and let us know if that resolves the issue?0

Rebooted modem and router....
all is good now !
I just wish spectrum tech support (NY, Hawaii, Kentucky....3 separate folks I was sequentially connected to) had said that.
NY wanted me to sign up for & pay extra for “streaming services” . She was also rude and impatient, insulting when I suggested that couldn’t be it as I had been just fine for years as I was, no problem before.
Hawaii was VERY nice & helpful, patient, informed me that being a tv subscriber automatically qualified me fir the tv app (NY was clueless about that),
but had to hand me off to Kentucky as he had reached a dead end too,
Kentucky also helpful & patient, who suggested deleting & re-installing the app. Not working.
Thats when I in desperation took to the internet & eventually found this forum.

May I suggest you counsel your tech help brethren about this, ez fix, for system wide use ?

Sorry for the frustrating experience. We will defintely share your feedback. With the TV app, it authenticates through the modem and sometimes it loses sync. Most of the time, restarting the modem re-establishes the sync with the app.

Sorry for and service issues. IGE-9000 is an error code that the service is unavailable. Are you connecting at home or away from home? Which model iPhone and iPad are you using? Does it work on any other device?

I’m at home,
using home Wi-Fi with spectrum internet, (same as my TV connects to as well as spectrum cable direct to DVR box),
6th gen iPad iOS 14.4 (2 separate iPads),
iPhone SE ios14.4
May I suggest that the error message say more than just “unable to access “
and say “suggest you reboot your modem”
