Going to channel directly as opposed to scrolling

My wife is NOT great at technology. We had Spectrum Cable with the coaxial box and she like to type in a channel number to go to it directly. If one wants to go to channel 640, I see no way to do that without scrolling through your favorite channel list or scrolling the list entirely. In other words, I see no numerical section on the Apple TV remote. I am accustomed to using apps and computer interfaces, she isn't. Any suggestions? We are moving into a new house within about 2 weeks to I'm trying to make a decision of just getting the coaxial box instead of the Apple TV device.'

I just went to Amazon and search for "Apple TV remote with numbers" and this came up:
It's cheap too and has several review stars..
