Upload Speed

Hi,

I just received a notice that my internet speed had doubled at no additional cost. As nice as that is, with me being a photographer and UPLOADING many images, it would be even better to have the upload speed double. It still remains around 11 Mbps. Any plans to change this? And yes, I am paying for the premium package for internet speed.

Good afternoon and welcome to the Spectrum Community, @Hawks_Feather!

If your speed is 200 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up, that is actually our base tier and that is why the download speed was doubled without additional cost. In almost all markets we also have Ultra which would increase download to 400 Mbps and upload to 20 and Gig service which is 940 down and 35 up.

If interested in upgrading your service, just give us a call at 1-855-707-7328. Our billing specialists would be glad to help with that and answer any questions.

I know in general the trend is to increase upload speeds since work from home and many more people uploading video content. I don't have dates or specifics but I do know that is a priority for us. Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback and again, welcome.

    Randy
